As a 23 year veteran of the NC Insurance Industry, Don has worked on both the Company and Agency side of the Insurance Business. Starting back in 1984 Don became a Nationwide Insurance Company, Business Agent, focusing on the production of Business and Group Health and Life Insurance policies. During his 5 years with Nationwide, Don was recognized by the Company with Pace Setter and Challenger Awards, as well as for his Life Insurance Production.

In 1989, Don left Nationwide to become an Area Sales Manager with Crum and Forrester Personal Insurance. Don was challenged to grow the production of personal lines policies for his territory in the state of NC. During a 3 year stint with Crum and Forrester Don was able to grow production from a weekly average of approximated 15 applications per week to 100 applications per week. In accomplishing this Don was recognized as 1990 Regional Area Sales Manager of the Year. In 1992, Don left Crum and Forrester and over the next 9 years worked as an Agent for area Insurance Agencies.

In November of 2001 Don opened McClintock and Associates, Professional Insurance Services. Since its inception McClintock and Associates has continued to enhance its position in the Durham Insurance Community, through growth, public service and advertising. It is the focus of the agency to continue to grow through providing "Superior Service as a Standard."

Joan is a Durham, NC native and has worked in the local insurance industry for over 30 years. During her years of service Joan has been recognized by receiving the 1997 Certified Professional Insurance Woman of the Year Award, and by receiving the 1980 Insurance Woman of the Year Award. Additionally Joan has achieved her CISR Designation in 1990.

Joan joined McClintock and Associates in 2001 and was the first company employee. Since that time Joan has been instrumental in the growth of the agency, as agency Manager, and Personal Lines Account Executive. Joan Looks forward to working with you concerning your Home and Auto Insurance needs

Bill is a life long resident of Durham, NC. He graduated from Northern High School in 1981, and then attended UNC at Wilmington, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Bill is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance as well as Life, Accident and Health. His primary focus within the agency is the sales and service of Group Health Benefits, Individual Health Insurance and Life. Lee Hammond

Lee has worked in the Insurance Industry for 22 years. She began her career in 1984 as a Commercial Rater for Reliance Insurance Company. Two years later she was promoted to Assistant Underwriter and maintained that position until 1988. In 1988 Lee transitioned from the Company side, to the Agency side of the Industry. Since then Lee has worked as a commercial customer service representative, and producer.

In January of 2006, Lee joined McClintock and Associates as a Commercial Account Specialist, responsible for the service and production of small to medium size commercial accounts. Lee would welcome your calls concerning any Commercial Property and Casualty needs or questions.

Michele Smith

Michele is a life long Durham, NC resident and joined the Insurance Industry in 1990 as an AFLAC Sales Representative, selling, Medicare Supplement, Long Term Care, Critical Care and Life Insurance Coverages. In 1991 Michele became licensed with Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, expanding her portfolio of coverages to include Individual Health and Group Health Insurance Programs. In 2004 Michele established A&M Benefits Group a company specializing in the Health Insurance Benefits Business. Then in 2005, in a move that was beneficial to her Customers and her Company, A&M Benefits was merged with McClintock and Associates to provide a broader Company Portfolio, as well as increasing marketing and services support. In February of 2006 Michele completed the merger and joined the office of McClintock and Associates, Professional Insurance Services.
